Nice photography. I once drove a rental Taurus through the Santa Cruz mountains and your photos are making me jealous. By the way...Is that the Competition Werkes fender eliminator?

Yeah, I like the one with the gloves on the back the most. 8)

Maybe I should have left my decals on. I could always put them back I suppose.

To be honest, I don't know. The bike came with it. I'm on my second hornet now (that story later) and the new one is completely stock.

Can I tell you, I REALLY miss the Micron Carbon Fibre exhaust!!! It sounded sooooooooooo good.

Alex,

It is a Comp Werkes fender eliminator.

Good eye. I've install a undertail kit for a company in Brazil that I brought from Ebay. It came painted and isn't all that bad. It could always be better but then I guess I would have to pay for more. I got it for 165 plus shipping.

They also sell a rear hugger or rear fender that is also painted to matched your 599. However, being the cheap person that I am, i thought since the 599 used the F3 motor. What if I stuck a F3 hugger on it since the swingarm looks the same.

Well, I end up bidding on an F2 hugger for 35 plus shipping from Ebay as well and made it work with a few cut here and a couple of zip ties there. VOILA.

Slap on a front windscreen for $60 from Road Rider here in San Jose and have so far down 2 Tahoe trip with it.

It's not half bad. I'll see if I can get some pix for it . Try posting pix but I'm pretty NOT computer savy.

Other than better brakes and suspension, I would so love to put a Givi or some other Hard bags on the rear for some storage and this baby ROCKS!!!
