A good day was had by all but the bikes needed a serious cleaning afterwards.

We'll have to make a US 599 meeting when we get our numbers up a little.

No tea or crumpets will be served!

Man, this is a big country...just regional events will be difficult. Friends just got back from Deals Gap, Blue Ridge and all up in the Smokies... I love this area. About a 10-12 hour ride from me door and kinda central to the East Coast...

Ohh, yeah, and nothing but wings burgers French fries proper potato chips stakes as thick as a 180 rear tire pizza and beer. Lots of bland pale freezing cold American (or slightly stronger Canadian) beer. (can you tell that I’m on my cutting diet???)

:headbang There are more Hornets in that picture than I've seen here in US in almost a year I've been riding. Kinda sad.

I've only seen 2 others... No not sad, one reason I have for owning a 599, it's unique.

Don't care what they’re called just as long as they be deep fried in some sort of tran-fatty oil smothered in ketchup :thumbsup

it's unique

For the benifit of all you mother Hornet's Nest lurkers I need to add > OVER HERE IN NORTH AMERICA... We know it is one of the most popular bikes in the world but over here - if it ain't a plastic encased sport bike or a Harly, it's unique. Honda's 599/Hornet...VERY unique.
