good deal man, from the looks of it he already put on some after market stuff too (mirrors, fender eliminator readily apparent).... you got a reason to be excited!

yeah...I noticed the fender eliminator and replacement mirrors too. I was happy about that...atleast it's already done and I don't have to worry with it.

i remember when i first got my 599 (first STREET bike) because it was just a few months ago!
yea,..... kiss your wife and tell her you'll see her next year,.... maybe by then you'll be able to part from your bike once or twice a week

A sincere CONGRATS on getting a sweet bike for an amazing price... but let me warn you now... motorcycles and forums are addictive as hell! It's VERY easy to overdo it and upset the people in your life. Don't let it be more important than your woman... it won't be pretty if you do. Mark my words, and listen to them.
Good luck and be careful with your new toy. :D

Yes, I'm well aware. If you haven't noticed...I've made quite a few post in the past 24 hours here. I figure at some point someone is going to to tell me to "shutup already." Yes, I can see it's quite addictive.
My wife is used to the forum thing with a couple of our cars. I spend a good deal of time on Spyderchat forum, the S2000 forum, and the VW forum.
I definitely do not let anything come before my wife. Though, being a guy, it's fun to joke about it. :-)
Thanks for the congrats. If you haven't noticed, I will be here on the forum ALOT. You just have no idea how stoked I am about getting my bike this week and especially stoked about having a forum for all of us in the States.
It's nice to know I'll be riding something that not everyone has. SV's are a dime a dozen where I am...CBR's and Gixxers are a dime a dozen where I am. But I have yet to see anyone on a 599...until now.

ANd how about this...I was reading a post under fender eliminator in the accessories/mods section of the forum, and noticed a post from a guy who put a picture up in his post. I thought the picture looked awfully familiar. Turns out, the guy posting is the guy who's bike I'm buying. Small world huh? Seems like a real nice guy who takes care of his stuff.
I'm just waaaaaaaaaay to excited about getting my 599.
Curious...should we be referring to the bike as a 599 or Hornet??? (especially since this forum is now a U.S. forum)
