Well 1 1/2 hours and one blown fuse later I have installed these LED flashers (http://www.motrax.co.uk/index.php?page_name=product&product_id=433) on the front. I have to say I'm very impressed with how much nicer the bike looks without those huge knobs. They flash a little faster than before but not all that bad. You can buy a flasher unit to slow it back to default if you want but I decided to stick with it as is. I picked them up for $40 at Cycle Gear. I'd recommend picking up the Honda indy spacers as well to make it look a little nicer.

Here's the wire colors for anyone who does this mod. There are no instructions but very easy to figure out. This is only part that I had to do trial and error (and blew the fuse).

Right Flasher:
Blue -> Yellow
Green -> Black
Blue w/ Stripe -> None

Left Flasher:
Orange -> Yellow
Green -> Black
Orange w/ Stripe -> None

The striped wire is so the indication will be solid on but these LED indicators do not support this feature so you can just cut it short and wrap the entire thing up in electrical tape once you've spliced all the wiring.

I made a write up not long ago on another forum of how to do this step by step. This might help.

http://www.wristtwisters.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2859

The lights I got were from Targa and cost me $15 plus shipping for both. I went with the bulbs because of the radiant light and they don't flash quickly.

I also chose shrink wrap tubes over electrical tape. It's more work but works better in the long run. A hairdryer was enough to shrink it incase you don't have a heat gun.

I have in my hands an integrated tail light. I'll be using a flasher relay to adjust it when I'm done. Expect video/pictures by this weekend on that.

If you're using a Clear Alternatives integrated board, the inline resistors they send w/ it work perfectly, if you didn't already buy the relay.

Yeah, I know they work but they get really hot. Hot enough to melt plastic if you don't wrap them good. I'm sure I could wrap them just fine but I don't like the idea of having them on my bike at all.

It's not expensive so I just assume buy a little plug and play thingy to do the trick. (I actually got mine for free because mine was backordered) 8)

Do you have resistors on your bike string?

They look like Hindsight LS to me. I have those on my bike, but mine didn't fit as nice and flush as Anti-hero's. I solved that problem easily enough with three 7/8" washers between the grip and bar end connections at the end of each grip. I wonder, AH, how did you get yours to fit "just right?"

I can't say too much about the mirrors because the dealer installed them before I ever looked at the bike. They threw them in for free on the deal but I plan to ask them about them when I go in for my 600 mile service (I'm at 300 now).

Make sure they examine your air filter real good! :D

I'm not an electrical genius, but wouldn't the resistors be building heat only when the turn signals are being used? I'm asking because I don't know. I mounted mine on the back of the subframe away from anything that would cause a problem due to heat regardless.

Yes, you're right about that. They only get hot when you use them. They will get really hot then cool almost instantly. A lot of people use them just fine, as long as they are mounted with care like you have. I just don't like the idea of having them there. If by mistake they came loose and burned up my wireing or my plastic I'd freak.

The relay will save me time (since I solder everything) and cost me nothing. So in my case it was a no brainer.

they look like crg mirrors. look on the back of the mirror it will probably say on it.
