i know what you mean about those mirrors. i have suburban machinary bars and barend mirrors. makes the bike look more agressive.

Y'know, on my last trip over to my local dealer, I noticed the 919 has black wheels whereas the '06 599 gets the silverish brushed color ones. I mentioned while there that I thought the black wheels would look good on the 599... you've just proven that.

Beginning to wonder now if a "glove shot" is going to be required of new members.... :lol:

Can get a free Bitbucket account but there are MANY others. Just Google "free photo host" http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=free+photo+host
Once you up load the picture to their site, they provide the "URL" and "IMG" taggs to just cut and paste here using the "URL" and "IMG" buttons under the subject line of the "Post a Reply" screen.

These bikes just look too good.

I know people have talked about how the carbon cans don't get very hot but are they cool enough without a heat shield to have a pillion's leg against it?

Should hope so, my Ti one stays cool enough to touch. Only thing that gets hot is the pipe going in. Carbon doesn't transfer heat well so it can be hot but won't transfer enough thermal energy fast enough to make it FEEL hot to the touch.
