I'm curious folks, IF there was a meet, what are your expectation of the gathering / activities and what important qualities or criteria do you think the location should posses?

I've never been to a bike rally or big group meet or anything really - so I don't know what to expect. What usually goes down at this kind of thing?

Here in Northern California the Alice's Restaurant (and a parking lot accross the street is the meeting point. People meet there before going on group rides or to eat lunch. Events such motorycle unveilings happen there as well. If I were to organize a Honda 599 rally/meeting, I would do a "best looking hornet" contest, invite vendors, do a raffle for some cool mod, possibly get a band or two, some food vendors... et cetera. Mind you, I'm sure our friends accross the ocean who have years of rallies behind them would be able to suggest a thing or two as well.

The reality is harsh though... there are so few of us on this side of the lake and we're very far from each other. :(
