Is there a reason why there's a yellow dot on all the OEM bolts and even some other parts like the brake rotors? I'm just curious because they don't seem to wash off as easily as I thought.

Think that means someone check them with a torque wrench.

I use this stuff on my off-road buggys so we can visually check the vehicle for proper torque. Most 4-wheelers have it on them from the factory.

Torque-Seal (http://www.mcmaster.com/ctlg/DisplCtlgPage.aspx?ReqTyp=CATALOG&CtlgPgNbr=2146&term=Torque%2bSeal%2bVibration%2bLacquers&sesnextrep=513012151973965&ScreenWidth=1280&McMMainWidth=751)

It comes in a bunch of colors.
