Gorgeous. California has some of the most beautiful landscapes... The wife and i were thinking about moving out that way when we got married. Didn't happen, but who's to say it wont? Perfect for bike rides...
I know where that is! I can see it (far in the distance) from where I live. Keep meaning to ride up there. May be one of them sunny weekends we can ride up there together. I'll be riding 2 up.

it is one of the more scarier roads for me cause there is lots of gravel and the road it self is really beat up and bumpy...I can go faster down hill on my scooter then on the 599 there. On one of the tight turns going about 10-15mph up and my rear end slide out dirt bike style on me.

And don't ya just love when the back goes kicking out? Must say the 599 is very well behaved in this aspect. Wish we had mountains here... :(

it is okay at the speed limit or lower around those turns

yeah I was very surprise at how well it handle that
my scoot, also naked, is the one on the top left, we got publish in a Japanese scooter magazine, the pics were taken back in August

Nice mean looking scooter! They have a CG like a foot off the ground, don't weigh anything...they will rule the really tight turns. There, HP doesn’t' do anything and the low speed makes weight become a major penalty.
