Ok guys. Forgive the quality of the images. Someone broke into my wifes car and stole our digital camera (she had it with her at work for Halloween taking pics). I had to use our digital cam corder. Does video GREAT! Pics...not so great. Anyway, thought I'd post em anyway since I haven't posted any yet. When I get a new digital camera (hopefully for Christmas) I'll take new pics and post em.

Just finished washing it since I'm riding in the Toys for Tots run tommorrow. Front sprocket cover is off because I was cleaning. Anyway...here's the pics...love my Givi Screen and Pilot Powers.

When I get my new camera...I will take much better photos. A couple of you guys asked me to post up a pic of the Givi screen...so that's as good as I can do until the new camera gets here...

It looks really good. But you have to take that warning sticker off your tank.

done. thanks for the advice...never thought about it till now...

that and your front turn signals.

Working on it. Only had the bike two weeks man...give a brother some time...

And the ugly chain guard...

getting a rear hugger. haven't taken off the chain gaurd since I'm getting a hugger. I figured I'd do it all at the same time.

Incidentally...my personalized plate should be here soon. It says "HRNET"

someone else in NC already has "hornet" taken.

I like the Powers and the white gauges. Berry nice.

Sorry about the camera, man. Really makes the world seem unsafe when stuff like that happens, don't it? My Mazda back home got vandalized last week in my driveway...and right as i'm trying to sell it. Damage wasn't bad, but it did require a good cleaning off. My friend's '03 600RR with a custom paint job got keyed that same night as well. Makes you wanna find that (those) punks and see how brave they are face to face.

Be careful at the ride. Personally i wouldn't recommend group rides this early...but all's well that ends well. Have a good time.

I'm gonna line up at the back of the pack. That way, if I start feeling like I need to drop out...I can just drop out.

I think it will be ok. I'm looking forward to it.

Looks nice. I just ordered the black version for our yellow '04 yesterday. We're thinking it will blend nicely with the other black parts of the bike. Hopefully it will get here in time to install it Thanksgiving weekend.

My first "mod", lol. I took that sticker off before I left the Honda dealership parking lot.

I've been trying to get the word HORNET in some form or another onto a motorcycle plate here in Virginia. No go. My wife came up with some good other suggestions, though.

Virginia DMV's web site has a nice preview function, so perhaps I can put a few together post pics of 'em. Maybe I'll do a poll and let you fellas help me decide.

I'm considering changing mine..."HRNET" was a quick decision...and now I'm not happy about it. I've considered:

REVITUP
REVHARD
ITSFAST
TOOFAST
HORN3T
NAKED
13K RPM

I don't know...I'm corny sometimes...don't laugh about my ideas for plates... :? :?

God I love yellow bikes! It's gorgeous Moto! Some day, in the future, my wife and I will retire around the country on a Pearl Yellow GL1800. Of course, I'll still have something sporty in the garage for the solo rides! :)

Too easy to confuse with "hairnet?" Ask me how I know....

I'm very familiar with being disappointed with plate ideas. I've done vanity plates on cars and on my old Honda Twinstar ... they all were neat ideas in my head, and sucked when they came back on metal. :x They make good garage decorations now. :?

One of my limiting factors right now is that I can only get five characters on the plate I want. Grr. :(

I guess I don't know the Simpsons well enough, but I suddenly got an image of The Man Show -- the whole Ziggy Socky bit. :?

I vote for HORN3T...and yes, the others are corny. Except NAKED. I think that would be a good one, though i'm pretty sure most people would not comprehend it's intended meaning.

Ok...decided on a plate and ordered it today.

NAKED6

I'm sure some of you will think it sucks or find it just plain corny, or maybe you'll think I should have just put "NAKED" without the 6. But around here, people need to know it's a 6er...just naked.

Will post some pics when I get the plate in.
