Here's a few of the pictures of our shiny black windscreen on our yellow '04. We thought the black would enhance the other gloss black parts of the bike verses the smoke version. BTW, I say "we" because this is also tamu8993/Melanie's bike too! 8)

The black strip on the handlebar clamp in this picture is Velcro for sticking on a mp3 player, toll road tag, etc

Very nice accent. :thumbsup
Looks great! Yellow and black was always one of my favorite color combinations

Thanks! I have to credit tamu8993 though. I was going for smoke but she said, "I think the black would look best."

I don't think I could ever share my bike with someone. To me, it's like an extention of my weiner. I could let a girl sit on it, but not rip it off and take it out for the weekend. :? I don't even like to think about it.
I guess you're a better man than I.
Nice windshield by the way.

"girl"? "weiner"? Steve...let us know when your HS graduation is and we'll throw you a party
Personally, I'd let a "girl" take my "weiner"…ahhh… make that “WIENER” out for a spin before I’d let her take my bike.... Way less work and worry for me.

Well, I don't know about "better", just different! Married 8 years, 36, 2 kids....at this point, what belong to whom is the least of our worries! We're just having fun and she can ride my stuff whenever she wants!

Thanks! I've always said that blue is my favorite color, but you could say that I like the yellow and black combo too....

You have good taste, my friend...
Looks aside, how is it working for you?

Seems like there's more high velocity wind at the helmet level now and therefore more noise. No helmet buffetting though until over 120 and when would I ever need to go that fast again? I've only had time to ride it one day and not on my "normal" route to really see the difference. I think I'll be on it tomorrow some more and try to give an update. There SEEMS to be a little less wind on my chest though.
