The New Year's Eve photo was taken at about 2:30 AM Jan 1st...and we'd been up drinking since about 4:00 PM the evening before...so drinking for about 10 hours. man...we put down serious amounts of alcohol last New Year's Eve....I'm almost dreading this coming one...

She's not been drinking or anything in the photo by herself...that one is her sober...

I just don't understand the fascination with her...she's just my wife...she's got a heart of gold though...I'd honestly be lost if anything ever happens to her...I have no doubt I'll mourn myself to death...and for once I'm being very serious...

Yeah I won I points on that match. It was my first submission wrestling tourney.

It's kinda funny the guy was such the trash talker. About a min into the match he thought he had a good position on me and he goes "ya having fun yet?" but he just pulled guard on me and held me down I just waited and got out of it and stood back up. Then he kinda offered me his leg i faked a shot in and pretended i was gonna do something with his arm then shot in and lifed him way up high. My friends said that his eyes got all big and that he looked like a fish out of water. I remember the ref saying "No slams, no slams" I didn't slam him but i wish i could have. I almost submitted him few times but ended up winning on points.

My next match i lost and got my arm hyper-extened. It took me about a month to fully recover.

Yeah i know the feeling!! I hyperextended my thumb while training
last year and that took 2-3 months to fully heal. I haven't commited to any tourneys this year. The judging sometimes is suspect but they
can be fun times and good learning exp's. I hope that guy learned that
one had better be able to back up trash talk. Maybe it's better to be quiet
and subtle and let skills and technique do the talking. Glad you beat him!!

What a great smile! And your helmet hair is nowhere near as bad as mine can get. When my friend Anita and I finished the last Iron Butt ride (1512 miles) I was in such a state that I refused to take off my helmet for a picture at the end! :lol: Anita isn't letting me live it down either . . . .

Wassup dj! I commute on/thru a bridge tunnel everyday. The Berkeley
Bridge/Downtown Tunnel. It's not too bad as there are two tubes, one
eastbound, one westbound. I have also done the Hampton Roads Bridge
Tunnel which connects the Southside (Va Beach, Norfolk etc.) with the
Peninsula (Hampton, Newport News etc.). That one also has two tubes.
I haven't done the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel which is the one in
Mission Impossible III yet but you're right it's pretty insane. Only one tube
for both directions of traffic. The way the wind from the 18 wheelers
and campers and big SUV's blows my car around i can just imagine how
it would be on the 599. :shock: !! That coupled with the $12 toll kinda
deters me.

Last time I was in the canyons, saw a guy with some weird looking saddle/cradle/basket thing for his dog that fit over the pillion seat. It kind of looked like a big baby's high chair. After owning the 599 for a few months now, this weekend has been my first chance to really ride for an extended period of time. For the two of you who live in my area, I rode up to Mountain Lake, and a few other back roads in the area. I had to ride on route 460 for a bit, and I am so pleased by how comfortable and stable the bike was at highway speed. I don't think a windscreen is required. My housemate was driving next to me for a bit, and took this picture:

I don't really have photos of myself, so the best I can do is a bad myspace style pic in a mirror where I am looking at my camera and trying to figure out if it is working or not. Sorry for crappy quality. I cannot take photos of anything worth half a damn (and I'm a professional artist...).

I can see what you need, belligerent: a gorillapod. Screws onto the camera's screw mount, has a lockable little bayonet mount and the little leggies will attach or stand you camera on damn near anything. Weighs almost nothing and you can take all those remote shots you've been missing. I once attached one to, essentially, a tall weed stock for a great down-the-trail shot of myself. Handy little gadget.

I hear ya on the pix dilemma, though.
