I've had crummy luck with vanity plates in the past (others tend not to read them the way I thought they'd be read), but I'm tempted to put one on the Hornet. I can only get five characters on the plate I want, and HORNT is alread taken. As is HRNET, which could be read as "hairnet." I don't want a misinterpreted tag... again.

I'm up for suggestions....

You could shorten mine and make it "NAKED"

It's just a Pyramid Plastics undertray with metal frame mount.

I had considered getting "NAKED" for my plate, but I figured it could be interpreted a number of different ways. I decided on "NAKED6" so other sportbike riders who might not be familiar with the 599 would know I'm riding a 6 that just happens to be naked.

My plate reads ROB KB. I might get it changed to STOP. I think it might make me feel a little safer when I'm at red lights and I see a car coming towards me in my mirrors.

I am waiting for my new plate to arrive in the mail. Unfortunatly QUEEN B and HER BEE were taken so I am getting BEE DVL. Now I just need the devil horns for my helmet.

I think i've only seen 1 other 599 in the portland area. I've seen a few 919's though.

That is why I wanted HER BEE or QUEEN B. My last bike had the plate MS PRIS and I got a lot of comments. Fortunately I sold her to another female rider who loved the plates and planned to keep them. Guess I will have to find another "Girls Kick Ass" sticker to put on the back of the bike.
