Has anybody else bought a set of Handy Stands (http://www.handyindustries.com/shop/product_view.asp?idProduct=167&D=1&S=4) to use with your Hornet? I received my new set yesterday and the swingarm was actually too wide to fit on the pads! I got them to fit after doing a little engineering on the rear stand. I basically put it on the floor on its side, put a foot on it, and pulled the metal apart until it was wide enough. :!:

The front stand was the correct width. One of my buddies at work has the stands for his YZF600 with spools and said that his fit fine out of the box.

I don't know anything about Handy Stands, but I do know that Pit Bull stands are the best, but you'll pay for it.

The YZF600R has a 160mm rear tire, so it would make sense that the swing arm is more narrow than our Hornets.

I got a response from Handy Industries:

...you will need to pull the stands apart for the 1st use so they will fit your bike. After that initial set up things should be fine.
