Anyone familiar with the Clearshield goods? It's available under a bunch of names: Clearshield is a Baekart product, and 3M offers a similar product. I've seen the kits for cars, and somewhere around here I've got a link to a company who sells a kit that's cut for the Hornets.

... [time passes] ...

A-ha! Here it is: http://www.painttechnic.com/Honda/honda-599-2004.html

Anybody dealt with such things? And how different in shape is the '04 tank from the '06 tank? Is it different at all?

Wow. Three posts today... I'm on a roll! :)

I've heard people post about those. They say good things about it. But I don't know if I could pay that much for plastic wrap. I think I have some in the kitchen.

Yeah man, most local bike shops.... atleast around here anyway... has sheats of that stuff that u can cut to fit, many people use them for their tanks,

I would take a look around before spending that kind of money. As far as quality, its suppose to work as well as the adhesive protectors even though its definitely thinner.

Hmm. Perhaps you could make a small business of cutting it to fit Hornets.

I can think of roughly a hundred people who might be interested....
