Okay, been thinking about riding style and doing a bit of reading during these cold winter nites...
Question - do you lean off the bike in corners? I am not talking about knee slider skimming the tarmac style (although thats cool), I mean casual bum off the seat, knee out, head low, bend swinging. I do it from time to time and when it flows it feels really good. Get it wrong and you unsettle the bike and wobble round (!) but it just takes practice.

Just curious how you guys do it over there.

I do it a little just for fun but there's no need for all that at legal speeds.

Sometimes I'll ride it like a dirt bike with my elbows out, foot off the peg and my balls to the tank going through a corner. Again, just for fun. :D

Same here. I've never had enough of a lean to need to really lean off the bike...and i'd rather not be riding that way on the street where you have no room for error.

If you really want to learn how to ride like that you should check out any local track to see if they have any riding schools. I'd like to do that myself someday.

Amen. As he rubs his hip. Though, from time to time, it's fun to swing a little off the saddle. But as always, right place right time.
