I haven't found one for the 599 and I don't really think it needs one. Kits usually cost anywhere from $2,000 to $4,000.

Enjoy your bike and if you still need more power buy a larger bike.

There is actually a $4-500 637 kit for the 599. It is a Wiseco kit. I have seen them on eBay, but nowhere else.

I found a link here. (http://www.enginedynamics.com/kits/honda.shtml)

Not sure of the price though.

I wouldn't bother unless you have to rebuild the engine or something.

www.importationsthibault.com. Go to the engine parts section of their
catalogue and you will find the 637 wiseco big bore kit. Also that is priced in Canadian dollors, so it will be lower priced for you americans. Any reputable engine builder (or a bike shop can send it out for you) can bore out your engine and install the kit. Engine boring here is $40-$65 per cylinder. You can also get the wiseco part # and order it through any distributer for wiseco. The 599 isn't listed in alot of parts books, but the 98 F3 is the same motor.

thanks for the info paul.....

i dont want to go get another bike. i want to keep this one trick it out completely. then when i am like 25 (discount on the insurence) get and R1. dont worry though my hornet will always have a spot in my garadge.
besides with being as young as i am and as crazy as i drive i really cant afford to not have full coverage on my insurence. it only cost me 400 bucks a year for FULL coverage and i am 20. not to mention my 599 has 23000 miles on it. ill try to get some pics up soon.

I CANT SPELL

I think I'm going to do it... not this year, but maybe next. I've got over 4 years left on payments and I don't see myself paying it off early, so even if I want one, another bike isn't an option. It could probably be done for under $1000, I think, if I drop the engine myself. And as the old 'Merican adage goes, there is no replacement for displacement.
