Alright, here's the setup: each evening I get more frustrated with our local news crew -- they're turning into actors rather than journalists. If I can find and store a clip, I'll post it. My favorite pearl from these guys came last month, on a particularly cold day. The reporter, on top of a local mountain, proclaimed: "If you've got ten bucks in your wallet, then youv'e got more dollars than there are degrees in the weather!" I wish I could provide the proper intonation in text. Was hilarious.

So I'm thinking, as these guys get more and more sensationalist, perhaps I should taunt them sometime. I'm mink oiling my shoes this evening, and suddenly it hits me: how many minks do we have to squeeze -- and how hard -- in order to get 2-5/8 ounces of mink oil?

(Yes, I've been in the Guinness this afternoon, but only a little.)

Here are two examples (of the mink oil, that is, not the cheesy reporter).
