Hi Guys

This is my second post on this site posted a pic of my dog last night. Just thought i would say hello from Scotland.

Attached a pic of my 2002 faired Hornet not modified only fitted with a hugger, fender extenda and crash mushrooms, I have a stainless radiator cover for it but stupid me bought one for a 2003 on bike will need to cut 30mm out of centre and re weld and polish will get round to it sometime soon.

Hey there and welcome to the site :) Good to have another Brit on board and the first faired Hornet as well as far as I am aware.

Just in case the "fat bastard' remark was mis-understood, I think he's referring to the character from Austin Powers...from Scotland...you probably got it..but just wanted to make sure!

Anyway, this is a great site full of real enthusiasts so stick around!

We forgot to tell you. If you are from Scotland, you are required to send
a few gallons of liquid refreshment to the #7 member on the list.

That will do fine. :thumbsup

(I vacationed in Scotland a couple of years ago and have been yearning for a pint ever since!!)

Hi Stuart,

That is quite spooky, I was just going to leave a message for you on the UK forum asking if you are coming to meet up with us at Linlithgow in June. :o

Cheers guys

Pricelister.... I am off on Thursday so will make sure I have a pint for you tonight. Feel free if you want to pay for it as well.

djamalt...i fitted the fender extender using "really sticky stuff" made by evo stick, comes in tubes like silicon didn't want to drill the front fender and fit with the screws supplied. Its been on over a year without a problem. I know some guys have used silicone but when I tried it it fell off and wouldn't cure probably because it was old and had been in the garage over the winter.

Scottuk...Hoping to make for a visit should be nightshift that weekend but there is some light at the end of the tunnel and hope my shift should be changed by then and getting paid to ride a Pan full time by then. Before you say it it will have a single seat conversion and have battenberg markings on it.

stuartym,

I know the Hornet can be got faired in Europe, but does Honda make that faring available as an accessory for the naked Hornet? My guess is no. It proly doesn't fit on a naked Hornet.
