Thanks guys!! Took me a while to finally post up a pic. More
to come...

The rim strips i copped from cycle gear and didn't realize till i got
home and opened the package that there are two different types (duh),
reflective and flourescent and guess what, i got the flourescent :? .
Was intending to get reflective but didn't want to take another trip
to the store so i just put 'em on and i guess i'm cool with them now.
Gotten quite a few compliments so i'll keep 'em till they fall off or i
get tired of 'em and get some reflective

By the way Alex your link to ebay seller of frame sliders was on point!

Very nice and very clean! How do you like your exhaust?? Wouldn't happen to have a soundclip would you?

If you want reflective strips, I highly recomend Tapeworks.com

I've posted up pics of mine before, but just so you can see here they are...by the way, tapeworks will cut them to any diameter you want. I didn't like the 3 standard diameters they had already, so they cut mine exactly the diameter I wanted...they're great guys..

Thanx everybody!!
Yeah moto i remember your pics. I think you were the first to get
the rim strips on this site. I was gonna do Tapeworks @ your referral
but happened to see them in cycle gear--voila! I'll definitely do tapeworks
next time, tho'. 8)
Yeah i'm lovin' the exhaust dude, haven't decided to gut it, don't think
i will. i like the deep tone, don't want a screamer.
Sound clip??--yeah right, not that computer savvy :) . Prolly easy just
never tried.

Sure is sephia!! I don't know if i should call that a "mod" per se,
but i've got a couple little subtle things on her like that, a gps holder
on my bar, heated grips, carb fiber bar ends, and of all things a deer
whistle for riding the back streets at night or before dawn when the
deer are out more. Who knows if a deer would even give a shit tho'.

Don't feel toooo guilty, His wife is pregnant so he has a lot of extra time to "polish" things...

What gps holder do you have and what model gps do you use?

Thanks! I love the yellow!

Hey mocha! I have a couple gps'. The Lowrance iway 350c which works
well but is pretty bulky and the Garmin eTrex vista which is compact and
affordable but doesn't do all the stuff the iway does.
I use a Ram mount for the Garmin. Also have a Lobster mount which i
haven't used yet. The iway is big so i use that in the cage but if i use it
on the bike i will need to use the lobster mount. I am pleased with
both units tho'. 8)

Thanks!

I have a Garmin 2720 that I use for my car but I think that's too big
to adapt for the 599. I've seen larger touring bikes use a GPS that
size but they have more room on the handlebars/dash area.
