View Full Version : I WANT A 599!!!
OSIRIS 03-26-2007, 04:04 PM Looking for a 599 BAD!!! I have wanted one for about 2 yrs now, but have just recently convinced by wife of letting me get one. The only exception is that I need to sell my 2004 Honda Shadow Aero first. If anybody knows of any used for sale or willing to trade for a 2004 Honda Shadow. I would love to know!
Check in here once in a while. I've also seen a number of clean 599s for a great price on eBay. Good luck!
djamalt 03-27-2007, 03:41 PM In the four of five months prior to buying mine, I saw two 599's on Craigslist. Might be another place to keep your eye on, as well as a place to unload your old bike.
five99er 03-27-2007, 08:20 PM I am thinking of selling this one:

looking4anice1 03-25-2008, 03:38 PM Any other tips for finding a decent 599? any for sale in North Carolina?
centralNC 03-25-2008, 04:29 PM Charlotte Honda has a new 2006 for sale for $5999. It is on their website motomadness.com . I saw a new one at their store last week.
looking4anice1 03-26-2008, 07:17 AM I'll give them a call, thanks.
Super Sneaky Steve 03-26-2008, 08:18 AM It was fortold in the prophesy. Mr.599 will buy his 599 for $5999.
We must provide fertile ground for his royal oats. Pepper, if you can read this I nominate you! They shall ride on a chariot pulled by 599's.
And in the case that Mr.599 is gay I nominate RND. Technically RND's not gay, but he does like theater, so at least they would have a lot to talk about.
...so it is written!
looking4anice1 03-26-2008, 12:28 PM :| So I really am the 599th member?
looking4anice1 03-26-2008, 12:47 PM which would you prefer, the 06 sounds like a better bike but not having ridden either i would not know. Any suggestions? :?:
JasonC 03-26-2008, 02:36 PM Neither is "better" than the other.
The '04 came in flat black (asphalt) or yellow, the '06 is metallic gloss black only. The biggest difference you'll notice while riding is the dash. The '04 has two analog gauges, while the '06 has an analog tach and digital speedo, clock, and fuel gauge behind a small screen.
The '06 forks may be an upgrade on paper, but no difference in real life. There are other subtle differences, mostly aesthetic, such as the gold color calipers on the '06. Nearly all the other parts are interchangeable.
If you're looking for a new bike, you're probably only going to find an '06.
rndthought 03-26-2008, 02:59 PM Technically RND's not gay, but he does like theater...
Mom called elated (she must be a lurker in this forum...) but says she'd feel better still if she could see your proof
(Oh and yes Mom, the theater thing is true... Spamalot anyone?)

Billy from Philly 03-31-2008, 05:40 PM So I am to understand that Mr. 599 does not even have one... Only in America.
JHenley17 03-31-2008, 09:07 PM There is no 599...
