View Full Version : Hosting the Honda 599 / Hornet 600 Service Manual
rndthought 05-13-2007, 12:52 PM May move this to another section but for now I'm posting it here..
I have a version of the maintenance manual on PDF and sometimes people ask for a picture or something and it would be super easy to just pull that or a couple pages out and send it (whole thing is like 185 megs).
Sometimes there are files other than pictures that wold be nice to share too... Anyone know of an easy way/place to put files so others can get them, like a free FTP? In my old Pegaso forum we set up a Gmail account then posted the login and password. You could email files in, then anyone could log in and email themselves the file... but it was a bit awkward...
Temporarily, thanks to one of our own, you can download the manual here:

Still, if you have a good answer to RNDs question, please feel free to reply to his post. :thumbsup

antihero 06-14-2007, 05:28 AM I want it. I'm also curious how you came across it. I'd like to get a service manual for my Ninja in pdf too if possible.

Gordon861 08-06-2007, 08:52 AM Is there a manual for the 2005/2006 Hornet/599 available anywhere ?
Not that I know of. Anyone who knows otherwise, please step in.
I would imagine its the same for everything except for the instrument cluster/forks/front brakes/ect.
There might be a supliment to the manual....just for the areas of the bike that are different... call a honda dealer, they'd know.

The 2006 manual has a whole section on how people will envy the cool-looking black metallic paint, so you should be careful or folks will "think you are showing off while simply parked..." or something like that.
rndthought 11-07-2007, 08:18 AM Odd, 2004 Manual has a whole section on how to be modest and placate 2006 owners due to there being no more yellow bikes to sell... Says something like "...they will probably be easily agitated despite the lies we will print in their manual telling them how great Black is..."

motorico 12-21-2007, 09:31 PM Yes there is a 2006 manual. It says 2004 - 2006 Honda Service Manual CB600F.
I know because I was fortunate enough to get one with my new bike.
This means that I now have a 2004 manual that I need to sell.

I have the pdf version of both the 1998 manual and the 2004-06 manual and want to make sure that I'm not buying the 98 print version here.
I think that`s what u need. :)
Also, you can print your pdf version :) to be sure.
