just got this finally from the cycle gear sale. paid 27.99 for a black one.

the tank bag is small, with 1 main compartment and 1 smaller exterior ones. with 3 magnetic flaps im confident it will stay on.

big space holds a hat, gloves, couple tools. one outside pocket is perfect for a wallet and keys, and the other pocket is designed to hold a cell phone or mp3 player. all in all its a great small city/short trip bag- not for serious endeavors.

Carry it everywhere I go on my bike. Carries a set of riding gloves, some gum, sunglasses, and the waterproof bag all go in the big compartment with room to spare. I put my wallet and keys in the small tound pocket and my cell goes in the cell pouch, but my v phone works great. i can see it through the little window and I know when someone is calling. I have gone almost 100 with the bag and never felt like i would have to worry about it. I really like that it is magnetic, when I go in somewhere I just carry it with me. Yeah, I get dumb looks, but I like it and don't want someone to walk away with it.

I have one too and use it on occasion. However, i was told that some metallic paints actually contain pieces of metal that will gather together if you leave a bag like that on for very extended periods of time. I don't know how true that is or how long you would have to leave the magnets on there to notice anything if it is.

I also have this bag. I think it's great for short trips around town. Like the other said usually gloves, wallet and things to that affect will fit in it although I've stuffed more.

I've never had a problem with the bag sliding of falling off but one thing you should do is always check the back of the three magnets before you throw it on the tank. They're really strong and have a habit of picking up little flecks of metal etc. when it's off the bike and could scratch the paint.

Metallic Paint indeed does have Metal in it. Metal Flakes to be Prorper about it.. But after the paint has dried, Its Impossible for the metal flakes to move around. Therefore the cant Gather up as you had heard... Not trouble there. The problem is, As Alex stated, The Magnets WILL pick up Loose metal material. So you gotta be sure they are Clean when you put the bag on the bike... I have a Nelson-Rigg bag myself, And I put down a peice of thick plastic material on my tanks before I put the bag on.. And make 100% sure you paint is clean before you put it on..Anything that gets caught between the plastic and the paint will scratch it..

Not a big fan of tank bags ... they dull the paint over time.

I've had this bag for about a year now and it works for short trips. I usually throw a bottle of water and a snack in the main compartment. Wallet and gum in the second pocket and cell phone in the third. The magnets are very strong and I've never had the bag move on me.

There are four magnets in the bag, one is tucked up under the main compartment and you can just pull it out..... I dunno why they just ship it that way.

I like mine too simple small and doesn't fly off.
