Has anyone visited the honda page recently? The 599 has been taken off the site.

hmmmm...Does this mean that 599 will not be sold in the US?

I'm guessing it's over until/unless they decide to bring the '07 Euro model here. Or else it'll be the spare in the Gold Wing's trunk.

It was gone last year. Where have you been? :?

Actually, it was listed on the Honda web site as well as the CBR600F4i. They leave the year old stuff out there because of the dealers still selling off the last of the lot. However, the models are now TWO years old so they have been pulled off of the site.

Troyoh,
Makes sense. Probably not enough two-year-old bikes left to be worth advertising. Though I know there are some still around various dealers in the area.

Steve,
I saw both models on the site as recently as last month. Looking at something else, but fooling around and they were still there. So who knows what kind of anything lurks in the hearts of Honda web masters? Not I.

The US Honda site gives very little info anyway...but it was kind of nice to check it out once and awhile.
There are defintely not bringing the Hornet in 08, Honda already did its model announcements.
Who knows if they will ever bring the Hornet in again. Either way, the 07 is almost entirely new and does not seem to share many parts of the 06.
What we have here my friends is the end of the line. I mean that in a good way. The Hornet was given a proven powerplant and tweaked for quite a few years. It basically represents the last of the carbed CB's. Quite a legacy.
