As read on Yahoo, the guy that bought Barry Bonds' 756th home run ball for 750k set up a public poll to decide what to do with it. The options are:

1 - Donate it to Cooperstown
2 - Donate it to Cooperstown after branding an asterisk on it
3 - Load it onto a rocket and blast it into space

Speaking of Bonds, I noticed that his record breaking home run was not included in the latest Best Damn Sports Show Top 50 plays of all time. Hank Arron's was..

It's the general consensus that Bonds is an asshole and a cheater but it's
funny how in recent light of some athletes and their steroid use the
issue doesn't get as much victriole. Pettit is said to be having a great
season. How many of these cheaters will still make the Hall of Fame??
Maguire, Sosa, hell even Terry Bradshaw and the Steelers are not spoken
of with the same venom as Bonds. I personally cant stand Bonds because
he's an asshole but steroid use is not just Bonds bag to carry. Not by a
long shot.

I agree 100% Yero, Bonds takes a lot of crap because he's a surly dude and because he broke the record. Had he not broke the record he wouldn't take so much justifiable crap but I'd bet good money that Maguire is as guilty as him when he broke the record the first time. That's my biggest problem, Maris broke that record fair and square, neither Maguire or Bonds did it fairly. But Bonds is certainly the most chronic and succesful user of performance enhancing substances. Unless he really believed it was just flaxseed oil he's been using all of these years!! :lol:
