There has been lots of talk around here about gear and jakets and knee pads and over pants and riding jeans... and I 've tried many in an effort to protect my knees as well as my elbows during my commute from Oakland to San francisco.
However, I just recieved my The Aerostich Supa Suit! in the mail last night and I'm really liking it (It's really just called the Aerostich Roadcrafter). I went to the Gym with it last night, (yes, fits in the locker) and then to work this morning. I feel a bit like an astronaut, but a well protected one. The suit looks like a large mechanics jumpsuit and slips easily on and off of street clothes. It costs (gulp) $800 with an additional back pad.
I don't think I'll need anything else, I may never take it off.
I got black over black.
It's fom Duluth, Minn. Excellent customer service.
