Has anyone watched the "Long Way Round" series with Ewan Mcgregor and Charley Boorman? It's was a TV series/book that they made into a DVD.

I bought the DVD a while back and it was great.

For anyone that doesn't know about it, the two of them rode around the world (London to NY) in 3 months on BMW's with a camera crew etc. They went through Siberia, Mongolia, Alaska, Canada (although Canada was shown FAR too briefly in the show!).

Check it out, it's worth it if you're into adventure/touring riding at all.

They've also just finished filming their new ride "Long Way Down" which took them from Scotland to Africa. I can't wait for that to come out on DVD. www.longwaydown.com

I saw it and loved it. It is an inspiring movie. Can't wait to see the next one. Hopefully Ewan can get a grip in the second one. :roll:
