Lesson: Be careful around congested ramps. Always look ahead and be ready for cagers who will stop RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU even if they have room to merge further down, closer to the ramp itself.

And resist urge to look at or other wise engage/admonish the befuddled driver as this will only distract both of you and yield NO benefit :thumbsup
Naaa, I had plenty of time to hit the breaks and split inbetween him and the wall of cars on his right... but if I were to expect this type of behavior from him, I would have
1. Remained in the leftmost lane for as long as I could or
2. Rode a bit slower so some easy braking would take care of not having to skid or split.
This is just a heads up to you boys and girls out there to stay alert out there.
