My only hesitation would be in build quality. Some of the Icon helmets have had pretty poor bond between the plastics and the outside of the shell. I love how a lot of their things look, though, and that's a beautiful lid.

+2. Icons are not known for quality, just bling.
And thats not just hearsay. Several icon helmets have been independently tested and usually found to be lacking in average or acceptable build quality. I know webbikeworld.com is one of these independent testers if you want to check it out. I have foudn their tests to be very helpful in general. It was one site that helped me decided to get a Shark.

my 2nd choice is a hjc cl-sp. its wayyy more affordable and was on Best Motorcycle Products of 2005.
I had one of those HJC CL-SP's...great helmet for a great price. Only reason i got rid of it is that it was too big for my head.

The challenge with the yellow hornet is a good looking helmet that matches and fits well. Hoowee.

I really like the look, but I think it might be to tight for my fat head. haven't ever really gotten used to it yet. I plan on getting a new one nest season, proabably an ICON of some sort. I really like the way they look
better.
