Yeah, I'm not sure about it either... the swappable tank cover is an interesting idea though.
It kinda has the Street Triple mufflers, Shiver frame, and a Front end from somewhere else... I'm not really into full digital displays though.. same goes for the CBR1000 dash.

That is one ugly Monster. It reminds me of the Series 3 Alfa spider -- the one with a black rubber spoiler on the trunk -- and how classic designs are ruined.

I think it's very unbalanced in the red paint. I wonder how it would do in all black? the Brutale is lovely - I bet a black 696 would look much nicer.

I don't know,....it's a little busy looking, and I've never been a fan of the birdcage frame design.

Birdcage design :) I like that, lol I think Ducati would prefer you call it "Trellis", which is much more cool because it stands for "a structure that supports climbing plants"... see?

Seriously, the 696 is the base model, if you would prefer the monster to look like the MV, wait till the S2R1000, and S4R equivalent models come out in this design... hmm :wink:

Right now I'd rather buy a Street Triple in white. 8)

(and more than that I'd rather keep my money, and continue to ride the lovely bike which is our 599).

That Ducati is sharp but I like the aprilia tuono's.
