Can someone help me find a free program to resize pictures?

I think I had something called infran on my old PC. I just need to take my big ass kodac jpegs and make them smaller for downloads.

Thanks

If you're on XP, there a simpler-than-simple one here (Image Resizer): www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx)

I use IrfanView, which I like pretty well. Just search Google for it, I think cnet has it in their downloads.

Try searching for it on www.download.com, too.

Or you could go overboard and get the open-source Photoshop clone - GIMP. But that may be bringing a gun to a knife fight. :P

Actually I have vista.

I'm kinda wary of downloading stuff that I google off some site. So I was hoping someone could recommend a site that is safe to download from.

Thanks for the replies!

cnet.com/download.com is safe... it's a safe program... you're in no danger...

or you could get uTorrent and get Photoshop, yeah...

Yeah, I think you can trust anything from CNET or http://www.tucows.com/...

+1 for the GIMP.

That's an awesome program for $0 , one of the best money can buy

If you like the windows-like interface instead of gimp, try paint .net

Another vote for IrfanView (http://www.irfanview.com). There isn't a better free image editor for Windows.
