So, after surfing this forum for a few weeks and after a few heart to hearts with my wife about the danger of roll on throttle wheelies in 2nd gear I have placed a deposit on a well maintained 2006 with 2034 miles. I get the rest of the extended warranty until 2011 as well but since it's a Honda I'm sure I won't need it but it's nice to have as my bike will be "inactive" for five months thru the winter. I AM SO Fing PYSCHED!!!!!! I haven't ridden in 19 years and this is a much different bike than the ones I was used to back in the late 80's. The smoothness of everything from the engine to the brakes to the suspension is just unreal to me after the rattle traps we used to ride back then. So, if anyone sees a black hornet in Sullivan County NY this summer give a wave, it's probably me. I hope everyone had a Happy New Year!

Man, you're gonna love the 599. The bike I had right before this one was a 1983 Suzuki GS650-G (the cool one with a shaft drive and 3 disc brakes). It was well taken care of.
The 599 is so much better. Everything is just so much softer, smoother, faster, EVERYTHING is better.
