I just wanted to let the members here know that I found a great deal on Puma brutale on ebay.
These are excellent shoes that offer protection and yet have the looks. And they're very comfortable ( wore them today to get them worn in) when not on the bike.

The buy it now price is $129 but my best offer of $91 was accepted so....Be all over it ( there may not be many left)
By the way the colors of hte ebay pics are slightly overexposed, they're darker in reality, like a dark grey...
Good luck

im having trouble finding where i read this, so right now im going to call it verifiable speculation. but: on the ebay page, those are designated as the brutale RR, which I read somewhere is classified as a "lifestyle" shoe- not as a full protection boot. which explains why it costs half as much.
now, i havent seen them in person so i do not know for sure. and i cant for the life of me find the site where i read that. so, if anyone can prove or disprove me, please do!

They may not be "full" protection but the heel protection is coming from the 1000 model which is the racing boot.
I was looking for a compromise between comfort, look and safety.
so far, it looks like the brutale do just that, but I would not recommend for the track.
UT '07 here by the way
