Natchez trace [Archive] - Honda 599 Forum

Hi there,

I´m planning to ride part of the Natchez trace on the next three-day weekend, from Jackson to Nashville.

Just started to look for hotels and, since I know only a bit of trace's history, I would like to stop often to learn about it. Any advice from anyone who rode it would be appreciated. Tomorrow's gonna be resources hunting day.

And, of course, all 599ers nearby are invited to join me even just for a while. More than a 599 on the road... it would be like Europe!!, hehe :wink:

There's a visitor's area somewhere on the Trace, but I'm thinking it may be in Alabama. :?: Most, if not all, of the other places you can stop and learn about the Trace are "historical" roadside markers that tell a little bit about the piece of land surrounding you. GREAT scenery, but few people & coin-operated civilization.
