View Full Version : Dad lets his son drive for the first time DarkTint 01-13-2008, 12:36 PM You just gotta watch... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VFnf17cp3Eg&feature=related mitsurugi 01-13-2008, 03:12 PM Pretty nice job from the kid - I was thinking it would flip for a little while. robkb 01-13-2008, 03:49 PM I've been riding dirt bikes and ATV's (three-wheelers) since I was 5. My dad seemed to be the only dad who made his kid wear a helmet. I wore it, too. In the sixth grade, I hit a mailbox and went over the handlebars and landed head-first into the pavement (by the way, dad always told me to stay off of the streets, but...). Wearing a helmet saved me from no telling what. I broke my arm in that crash. Could've broken my head. I've never ridden in a dunebuggy like the one in the video, but it looks like a person could whack their head against the roll cage, or on something. I think the kid should've been wearing a cool-looking full-face dirt bike helmet. Billy from Philly 01-13-2008, 04:07 PM he's a midget... | |
