Just wanted to say hello to everyone. Bought an 04 599 last year and was directed to this site by the previous owner. First bike for me and have really found all of the accessory and mod threads interesting. I am definitely forecasting a drain on the cash flow once I start in on modifications :)

Welcome! Yeah, it can be addictive... no matter what, it's hard to be satisfied... at least for me. Luckily, I lack the ability to fabricate things, so I can't go too far.

Welcome! I'm new as well. I sold my 2004 599 a couple of years ago and now I'm on the prowl for a new one! A great bike for sure!

Hmmm, 8,000 hits a month... Lessee, that's probably 3,000 hits by rndthought, 3,000 hits by sneaky steve, and 2,000 hits for everybody else!

Just kidding, guys! Much love! Maaaaybe I'll catch up to you eventually, but more importantly, methinks I needs to get on that bike and get some seat time!

Think so? I'm pretty sure Steve and rnd contribute only about 20 -25 hits each per month. Their routine is as follows:

1. Go to work in the morning (15-30 minutes late)
2. Turn on company computer
3. Log on honda599.com
4. Minimize screen whenever co-workers are near
5. Maximize screen when threat is gone
6. Turn off company computer
7. Go home in the evening (30-45 minutes early)

That's exactly what I do! It's 12F and it's been months since I've been on a bike. This site keeps me from going nuts!

I'm trying to take the number 1 post whore title away from RND. My secret plan is to send him a few free tickets to go see France for a few weeks to catch up.

Oh this is good stuff... The above schedule is scarily accurate except for #7, I'm usually 30-60 minutes late getting out of the office.. :( Oh, and the "coffee" breaks I take every hour to go out clean some part of the bike... using office supplied rags and cleaners of course  NOT.

Nice weather down here Steve, way cheaper than sending me to France :thinking
