Hi everyone. I just bought a used 2006 599 and have put a 120 miles on it so far. This is my first street bike and it has me grinning ear to ear. I have spent the last two weeks reading all the posts on this forum. Thanks for all the information. It has helped me get to know my bike and given me riding tips far beyond the msf course. I hope to see some of you on the road this spring. Anyone kow of some good twisties in connecticut?

Welcome Snapperhead!! Don't know much about CT roads either. I
think the member Opticycler is from CT(?). I've got a good buddy in
Norwalk and a friend in Prospect. Anyway enjoy your bike whatever
roads you make it out on. 8)

:welcome Snapperhead! I haven't ventured that far into CT yet, mostly just around the Woodstock, Putnam, Thompson area. There's some nice roads around there, but that's a bit to the north of you. There are 3 others here from CT- Hondagirl, Opticycler, and Suter, and I'm the closest MA resident. Maybe see you around some time when the weather's nicer!
