I was wondering if anyone has run into problems using saddlebags with their aftermarket exhaust? I have the Two Brothers CF, which seems to stay pretty cool while riding, but I have not used my saddlebags since installed. Just wondering if the exhaust will get too hot when covered with the bag. I would hate to get down the road a ways and find out my bag is melting on my exhaust.

There is a thread on saddle bags over in the general forum (for some reason?).

Someone there posted an experience using bags with a Ti 2bros exhaust. You might also want to consider that although the cf pipes should run cooler than the Ti cans, the carbon cans will _need_ the airflow to keep the heat from damaging the carbon. May not really be an issue, but something to think about.

Thanks, I have been through that thread and didnt really see much in the way of comments on aftermarket exhaust with the saddle bags. I think Im just going to have to strap them on and take a short ride to test it out. Thanks.

2Bro and Ti was me... no issues `cept when I got 'em too far back and had some disfiguring due to the actual heat coming out the exhaust. From Orlando to TN and back. YMMV though.
