Agreed. Great video & soundtrack, but I probably won't show my wife :?.

I've seen a lot of the pictures and videos, but the ones that really scared me are the onboard cameras showing the totally unexpected obstacles popping up trying to kill you. When you see pics of crashes, you can tell yourself that they were probably being stupid, careless, etc. but it's hard to say that there's no way a car or deer will wind up in front of you in an instant.

Requiem for a biker... It almost puts me in the same state of mind as watching "Requiem for a Dream". Except our speed pills or shooting up coke are replaced by riding bikes!

I was just talking to my gf yesterday about how dangerous it is out there on the road. I compared it to sky diving. I know people who have been sky diving their entire lives. People die/get hurt doing it all the time, but they still do it!

The two that got me were the deer running out in front of the bike, and the red light runner...nothing you can really do but brace for impact! Scary stuff out there.

And the one in front of the gas station... doubt any of them even had enough time to brace...

Then there were a few that when I'm watching I'm like "What are you thinking...that was soooo your fault, or at the very least in your control to prevent it."

Bikers are not crazy or dangerous.
Guardrails and slippery paint are dangerous.
Dirty curves or those who change lanes without checking the mirrors are dangerous.
If something, we are vulnerable.
Crazy are the ones making it difficult to get a good insurance to those of us who need it.
