Well, it isn't like Ducati makes "entry level" bikes... at least that's the way I took it. I still think if you are new/newish to riding you are better served by an older underpowered bike (by today's standards anyway). Better off to learn how do deal with things while underpowered and on a loosy goosy bike before jumping on a high-power confidence inspiring one...maybe.
And I don't know what the guys aversion was to going off road with the thing... :wink:
