Why do guys recommend for a summer/mild weather textile or mesh jacket that is comfortable and not bad looking? I need something that something that doesn't say boy racer or middle aged tourer that I can wear to class. I have a Joe Rocket jacket textile for mild to cool weather and Rev'it 2 piece leathers for my spirited riding days.
Thanks in advance.

I wear a joe rocket alter ego jacket that has an outer shell that can be removed. When the shell is removed the jacket is mesh and the only textile left is from the elbows to the neck on the arms and across the upper half of your back. I have not tested this out yet as it has not warmed up enough in connecticut. The jacket has performed well in the colder temps 40 degrees however I did have a down vest underneath. I think the jacket is a good compromise from leather with advertising all over it and will not be mistaken for a touring coat. I get cold fast so I bet it will be sufficient in the warmer months.
