I got mine 3 weeks ago. Mine is a 04, yellow and it had only 2100 miles on it. You won't believe what I paid for it. $3750. The guy was getting married and his wife didn't want him to have a bike. He also threw in a Joe Rocket jacket, battery charger, helmet and gloves. I had a 250 ninja so this bike has much more power. It shifts smooth and handles great. The previous owner put Rentahl bars and aftermarket turn indicators. Couple of ?'s. I don't have a owners manual. What's the load weight? How many miles can you get on a tank of gas? I was playing around on the buttons and it apparantly has a clock. Anything else I need to know? Any windshields available? I would like a sporty looking one, not a large on that you'd see on a cop bike or cruiser. Anyway, I'm loving it and excited to know there are others like me on this forum. I get lots of compliments on the bike everywhere I go.

Let's see... for an 06 US bike, which is is the same, chassis-wise, save for the forks, has a max load capacity of 384 pounds.

There are various discussions about windscreens. It's probably painful right now while Alex sorts out the issues with the board, but do a search. Givi has two models, I think, that a few here have tried and there's a Honda screen, but I think installation is more difficult for it.

Welcome. Lots to read here BarlettDude, "Search" works great especially if you check the "Display results as: POSTS" option.

There are screen options... do you have an `04 or and `06?

:welcome Bartlettdude! I got all excited when I saw the title of this thread, as the high school in the next town over from me is called Bartlett High. I thought maybe you were from around here, but glad to have you aboard no matter where you are!

What a great deal! Welcome.

That guy you bought it from needs to grow a pair. Next thing you know she will make him sell his dog and watch nothing but the Lifetime network or Oprah.

Sad :(
