Anyone got experience with these? Tried on a pair last night and felt good, was kind of hoping to find a thicker sole to help with my vertical challenges though - 5'3" Any suggestions for alternatives?

Most full motorcycle boots have very thin soles. Some of the ankle boots or shoe-style ones out there, like the Icon Superduty, give you a significantly thicker sole.

Thanks transient. The Meteor boots are not full boots, more "above the ankle" or calf boots, the sole is thicker than full boots. I checked out the Icon's online, look interesting I'd like to find a pair to try out for real.

I have a pair of meteors and love them.
They are "3/4" length boots.
They are sturdy enough for the track.
Easy enough to put on and take off that I DO wear them every day.
AND......they don't look like I mugged a Power Ranger to get em.
Plus the price was right.

My smile of the day... the visual is everything.

Thanks for the review! What price is "right"? I expect we are getting ripped off up here in the North! They were "Honda" ones mind you.

IIRC I paid around $125 (US) out the door, but I bought from my local dealer to make sure they fit. My size 9's are a touch snugger than I'd think a 9 should be, but I'm not going to a 10 (I'd feel like I mugged Ronnie McD in 10's).
You may be able to find them on line for a better deal.

I bought mine at a honda dealer for 130$...I find that the sizing is way off however. I usually wear a 43(9.5-10 US) Merrel shoe, but I wear a 41( 7 us) Meteor. Try em' before you buy em' for the right fit. I'm glad I didn't buy them off the internet I'd be walking around with the Mcd's shoes as well... Other than that they're awesome, the first day I had them they were on my feet for a full 13 hours. nothing to complain about at all.....
