I am taking a course in st johns NL now and I wanted to get my bike in here from Corner brook so I could ride it to school, only problem with that is it's a 7 hour drive/ride from Corner Brook to St. John's. Add on to that that the month of May in Newfoundland is cold real cold I mean it snows on the may 24th weekend almost every year here. I gave myself a 3 day window and after I took my 599 in for service I made a shot for it on the first "nice day" I had may 10th. The weather wasn't too bad I must say it only rained for a lil while, but it was cold and damp. But the good thing is I made it , I didn't hit any moose and didn't get frost bite on my hands. so for all of you americans complaining about the cold, blaaaaaaa
The lil 599 wasn't much wind protection but she handled the trip well and got a well dererved wash when I got to st johns.

I didn't hit any moose...

Wow. If you gotta have something to judge a day as "good" or "bad" with... well, I guess that'll do.
