I'm always game to meet up for a ride. There are some great roads here in Washington County and also Frederick and Carroll. Harford, Howard and Baltimore counties are good if you pick carefully. Depending on how far you're willing to go (and where you are, for that matter), West Virginia and Pennsylvania have tons of great rides.

Hey, not in Maryland but I'm close enough. I'm in PA, only about 2 hours from Baltimore... and I used to live in MD while I was in the Marine Corps and for a couple of years afterwards so I'm familiar with the area to include jfeaging's 'wild country'. (One of my favorite camping spots is Herrington Manor State Park.)

I went to Pete's on Saturday and they said that it shouldn't be a problem finding one for me. They said they had one last week and just sold but when I called them last week, they said they didn't have any...hmmm

How late do you want to start? I know I like to get 6 hours' sack time if I'm going to be riding or driving a lot the next day.
