I am located in MD and looking for an asphalt or a black 599. My MSF course is next week and I thought I would start looking for a bike. I can't wait!!! Anyone here from MD?

aww you beat me to it...i'm doing the msf at the mva in mid-july. 599's are hard to come by around here.

no kidding. There was black one on craigslist but it is gone now. :cry:
I think I am going to stop by c and l cycles this Saturday. It is the closest motorcycle shop near me. Have you been to any dealers? Are 599s hard to find even from the honda dealers?

I got mine from Twigg's here in Hagerstown, if you don't mind the hour ride. They had some used '04s in at the time, but I wanted new so they got it from another dealer. You might also look into PA a bit. I've seen a few on Cycle Trader ranging from Gettysburg to Bedford.

Nice to know there's another fan nearby. I take my Royal Enfield to C&L when I run out of patience. Good bunch of guys in the service department.

yea i saw that one on craigslist but figured it was sold already. it was a really good price. winchester has one for sale but it's a little steep. petes cycle are around my area but no 599's for sale there.

So I went to Honda of Crofton today and sat on 600rr and 919. 600rr looks so good but I wasn't too crazy about the riding position and it was also crushing my balls. ahahaha. They didn't have 599 in stock but came back and said that there was one somewhere and will make some phone calls on Monday. Hopefully, he can get it for me. Can't wait!!!

I completed the course and passed the test!! :woohoo
