Not sure where this fit's in on the forums so pardon me if I've written out of place.

Well my wife and I love our new 599 so much we are putting up our other bike, a 2006 750cc Honda Shadow, for sale to buy another 599. What a difference in bikes. Don't get me wrong the Shadow is a great bike, good on gas and fun to ride.....but no where as fun as a 599. Last night was the kicker however. There was no rain so we had both bikes out driving the back roads and switching them up for about an hour. We went to a Starbucks for a coffee sat there looking at each other and without even discussing it we both said "let's sell the Shadow and get another 599."

Most of us have bikes here but you're welcome to try.

I think you've got a good plan there, but I have a better one! Why don't you give her your 599 then buy a 919 for yourself :D

Well sneaky it just so happens that that seems to be the plan. Last night I found a 2006 919 with only 314k's on it for $6500. So if everything goes as planned I'll sell the Shadow and then pick up the 919. That's IF things go as planned and we all know how those work out. I have to sell the Shadow fast enough before someone else finds this 919. Wish us luck.
