Hey everyone, looking for a 599 but I cant find one anywhere.
I've been scouring eBay, craigslist, cycletrader for weeks now.
These are hard to find bikes.

Would prefer flat black (asphalt, matte?).
If anyone could point me in the right direction or has one for sale I would be ecstatic.

2004 and 2006 were the only US model years of the 599 - technically 2005 is in there, but not a different model. So. Yeah, it's pretty limited. Keep an eye on the resources there and the "Bikes for Sale" section on this site. Good luck!

i actually just took a ride up to winchester, va to look at the new 599 they had advertised - granted this was an excuse to do something but anyway they did not have one there so don't waste your time. cycletrader has me wondering how updated their information is. shenandoah honda was a great place to go though - they were very friendly. they had every new model you could think of and some used ones as well. where in annapolis?

i haven't been anywhere to look for one yet, just my computer. i'm tempted to opt for a 919 since they seem more abundant, but i really would prefer a 599. i'll just have to be patient and wait and see.

the 919 is much higher on insurance - hence my ruling it out.

No doubt that a Ducati would be a great choice, and I've even considered one, but i'm in no major hurry right now. I'll just keep my eyes peeled and maybe i'll get lucky (if sodaking doesn't beat me to it :))

btw, thats pretty cool that were so close sodaking. i actually live in atlantis, not the cape. most of the time people have never heard of atlantis, so usually i say i live in the cape. If we ever end up with bikes this summer we should get together and terrorize the neighborhood.
