I purchased today a brand spankin new 2006 Honda 599. I have drooled over this bike since I was 16, but chose higher spec sport bikes in the past several years over this pearl of a bike. Due to the mileage I do, I have decided to buy a standard for comfort and fun. By chance, I found a dealer with a brand new 06 leftover and managed to work a very....very good deal on it. After a spirited ride home I am very pleased with my purchase. I plan to post pictures tomorrow evening. Any newbie tips/tricks to suggest?

Live it up. It's a great bike. Not a lot more to say than that, though I'm sure you can find mountains of great advice throughout the forums.
