Same thing with me but I'm starting to get used to the yellow so I might consider one. A buddy of mine that races and was a writer for the AMA suggested that yellow makes you more visible on the road and every little bit helps.

Congrats! I'm assuming that you bought the asphalt dark gray color...

Do a search on the windscreen issue. 599s don't come with a windscreen, but there are several options depending on the year you have. Off the top of my head, Givi and Honda both make one.

Thanks! I did get the asphalt grey and loving it! Just finished the first detail. Cleaned up and looks new! Can't wait till this weekend, suppose to be warm in sunny in Seattle!

Perfect weekend! My wife went down to Portland for a show; both kids were at friends for sleepovers! The weather was perfect and I rode all weekend! As a green horn it was a great learning experience! Rode the twistys to stop and go traffic.

My mantra as this point is practice, practice, practice! Smooth out the shifts! I have tomorrow off and plan to hit the roads early.

I was up till 1am Saturday night reading the posts and have learned lots! Have really enjoyed the forum!
