HELLOOOO ALLL!!! Just happened to google 599 to send a friend a pic of my bike and found this site!!!

OMG - I love my 599. I've been riding for 2 1/2 years. My brother has been riding since he was a teenager (he's 46 now) and my nephew has been riding before he could walk, he also races at the track so just natural the annoying little sister would tag along finally at 38! :)

Took the MSF to see if I could even do it even though I dreamed of riding since I was little, lo and behold I'm totally in love with it and attack our local Santa Monica mountains, 33 etc when I head out with friends.

The 599 has been a great starter bike and thought I'd want to upgrade to something bigger but there's still so much she gives me. Plus she's different looking, has personality. I'm sporty in the back and business in the front. I LOVE her.... :)

Anyway hope to find some local 599rs, I see bike night if we can get one together!!!

Welcome to the forum! It's good to see more L.A. based people around, there seems to be quite a few of us in the area now.

There is a thread in the group rides section about a possible LA area meetup/ride, though interest so far seems pretty low considering how many local people we've got. see here (http://www.honda599.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=2734), and post up if you've got any suggestions.

Welcome Amy! Just drove past Santa Monica over the weekend. I am about 2 hours north, but willing to ride if we ever get a large enough group involved.
